Saladas hosts gluten-free cooking workshop for celiac patients

A gluten-free cooking workshop was held at the Sargento Juan Bautista Cabral Cultural Center in Saladas to provide tools and information for safe nutrition to people with celiac disease and their families.

The event included open talks regarding gluten-free diets, practical recommendations, and the distribution of food modules to beneficiaries. A dedicated space was also provided for consultations and administrative procedures.

The initiative was organized through a collaboration between the provincial Ministry of Social Development—via the Directorate of Food Safety and the Nutritional Support Program for Celiac Persons—and the local municipality. The program aims to strengthen support and promote access to adequate nutrition for those managing this autoimmune condition.
