Saladas implements free vision care program for youth

In Saladas, Argentina, the ‘Ver para ser Libres’ initiative provided free ophthalmological exams and prescription glasses to hundreds of children and adolescents aged 6 to 17. The program was held at the CIC in the Estación neighborhood.

The operation was a collaborative effort involving the Corrientes Province Ministry of Social Development, the National Ministry of Human Capital, the National University of the Northeast (UNNE), and the Municipality of Saladas. Local officials, including Mayor Noel Gómez, participated in the event to support families and improve visual health access for students.
