Salahudin wins $250,000 Ellis Park Juvenile Stakes

The two-year-old horse Salahudin won the $250,000 Ellis Park Juvenile Stakes at Ellis Park, securing a 4 1/2-length victory. Trained by Bob Baffert for Zedan Racing Stables and ridden by jockey Florent Geroux, Salahudin entered the race as the betting favorite and improved his record to 2-for-2.

During the seven-furlong race, Salahudin trailed the early leaders, Bearamour and Grand Yaupon, before moving into contention on the outside. He took command coming off the turn and finished with a time of 1:23.34 on a fast main track. Grand Yaupon, trained by Steve Asmussen, finished second, while Bearamour took third.
