Salamanca begins construction on Garrido Youth Innovation Center

The Salamanca City Council has commenced construction on the Garrido Youth Innovation Center. The project involves expanding and improving the existing House of Youth in the Garrido neighborhood to create a hub for entrepreneurship, talent attraction, and job creation.

With an allocated budget of 2.3 million euros and a one-year execution period, the project is part of the ‘CoNEcta Salamanca’ Integrated Action Plan. This initiative is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of a larger 15.2 million euro urban development strategy. The center aims to reduce the digital divide and foster innovation, creativity, and technological training among local youth.
