Salamanca hosts Municipal Fair of Associations to promote folklore

The Municipal Fair of Associations was held in the La Vega neighborhood of Salamanca to promote traditional folklore and local community associations. Organized by the El Tormes Neighborhood Association with support from the Salamanca City Council and the El Concejo del Tormes Neighborhood Association, the event aimed to connect citizens with local cultural collectives.

A key feature of this year's edition was the inclusion of the Danzarillo del Tormes cultural project, which provided traditional rhythms through workshops and concerts. Performances included groups such as Folk on Crest and Perfusión Afrogalega, while musician Álvaro Menéndez led a participatory percussion workshop.
