Salamanca hosts VI International General Assembly of Juventud Mariana Vicenciana

Salamanca, Spain, is hosting the VI International General Assembly of the Juventud Mariana Vicenciana (JMV) from August 17 to 23, 2026. This assembly brings together young people, advisors, Daughters of Charity, and Vincentian missionaries from various continents to discuss the future of this international Catholic youth association.

Under the theme ‘With Mary serving today, we transform tomorrow,’ the assembly serves as a platform for evaluating the progress made over the last five years, reviewing organizational structures, and discerning new pastoral priorities. Participants will also study International Statutes and prepare for the election of a new International Council to lead the association for the next five-year term. This event marks a return to in-person gatherings following the 2021 assembly, which was held virtually due to the pandemic.
