Salamanca neighborhoods celebrate local festivals

The neighborhoods of Oeste, Huerta Otea, and Garrido in Salamanca are celebrating their local festivals this weekend. The festivities include a diverse range of activities such as an olive stone throwing contest and a Ghostbusters-themed costume competition.

In the Oeste neighborhood, the SeptemberFest features art, music, science, and gastronomy. Scheduled events include the Cromático painting activity, live music from The Groovers Company, and a guided tour of the Urban Gallery. Other highlights include the Folk on Crest performance, a Belgian beer tasting, and a screening of the film Ghostbusters.
