Constanza Lastra Errasti named National Student Representative

Constanza Lastra Errasti of Santiago del Estero has been elected as the new National Student Representative for 2026. The announcement took place during the 75th edition of the Fiesta Nacional de los Estudiantes (FNE) held at the Estadio 23 de Agosto in Jujuy, Argentina.

The election featured representatives from various Argentine provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Other notable winners include Julieta Valentina Torres Morsucci from Mendoza as the 1st National Representative and Ernestina Otegui from Entre Ríos as the 2nd National Representative. The event also honored Carolina “Pampita” Ardohain, the 1994 National Student Representative, for her career and connection to the festival.

The gala included choreographed performances by over 150 students and a traditional runway walk by 24 young representatives. The ceremony marked the transition from the 2025 representative, Sofía Alanís Masino, to the new leadership.
