Salamaq 2026 agricultural fair to host 1,500 livestock in Salamanca

The Salamaq 2026 agricultural fair and the 37th International Purebred Livestock Exhibition are scheduled to take place in Salamanca from September 3 to 7. Supported by a budget of 1,180,550 euros, the event will feature 470 exhibitors and approximately 1,500 head of livestock. The fair follows a significant 6.5 million euro investment in the modernization and digitalization of the provincial fairgrounds.

In addition to the agricultural sector, the 29th Ciudad Rodrigo Theater Fair in Castilla y León is concluding its run. The event drew over 29,000 spectators and featured nearly 300 accredited entities, showcasing a variety of recent productions and diverse scenic languages despite recent weather challenges.

In the Aragon region, the Expoferia de Sobrarbe will host meat tastings in Aínsa on September 5 and 6 to promote local Pyrenean products and indigenous breeds.
