Agricultural and livestock sectors hold major regional fairs and auctions

Various regional agricultural and livestock events are taking place across South America and Spain. In Paraguay, the Braford Spring Breeder Auction is showcasing selected genetics to improve commercial herds.

In Argentina, several significant events are underway: the Expo Magdalena Produce returns after 30 years to showcase local production; the Feria Argentina del Alfajor is held in Tucumán; and the Expo Rural Bandera highlights regional technology and livestock. Additionally, the second International Sustainable Agriculture Summit will be held in Misiones, focusing on biotechnology and digital transformation. Market reports from Entre Ríos indicate a 5.35% increase in livestock prices for August, while the Expoferia San Guillermo and the 81st Expo Formosa continue to drive regional business and innovation.

In Uruguay, Expo Prado 2026 has recorded a high number of registered breeders, including over 780 bovines and 627 ovines. In Spain, the Salamaq international livestock exhibition in Salamanca features 470 exhibitors and nearly 1,500 purebred animals, supported by significant infrastructure investments. Meanwhile, the Vinuesa Livestock Fair in Soria celebrates its 25th anniversary, emphasizing local meat industry promotion.
