Salceda Business Center Project Moves Forward

The municipal council of Salceda and the Zona Franca de Vigo have selected a 4,000‑square‑metre plot in the PERI area of A Gándara for a new business centre. The 9,000‑square‑metre facility will house offices, coworking spaces, multipurpose rooms and a 500‑seat auditorium aimed at supporting startups, SMEs and emerging companies. Construction is slated to begin in 2027 after a feasibility study and a formal agreement between the two bodies are approved.

Funding and construction will be handled by Zona Franca, while the Salceda council will manage the centre once completed. Local officials, including mayor Loli Castiñeira and Zona Franca delegate David Regades, highlighted the project’s role in generating economic activity and employment in the region.
