Saldaña and Bonao prepare for upcoming regional fairs

Saldaña will host the Feria de la Alubia on October 17 and 18 at Plaza Vieja. The event features the VI Villa de Saldaña Railway Pot Contest, with prizes exceeding 1,100 euros, alongside wine and beer tastings, live music, and the X Alubia de Saldaña Award. Other activities include mycological workshops organized by the Corro de Brujas association, traditional bean threshing demonstrations, and a solidarity march against cancer organized by the AECC of Palencia.

In Bonao, preparations are underway for the XXXI Ecotourism and Production Fair and the inaugural Water Fair, scheduled for November 5 to 15 in the La Salvia-Los Quemados community. Managed by the Fundación Ciencia y Arte (FCA), the event will include scientific, educational, commercial, and cultural activities. The organizing committee is currently coordinating the assembly of pavilions and exhibition spaces to accommodate various sectors, including agricultural producers and local businesses.
