Sale Sharks defeat Saracens despite red card

In a Gallagher Premiership match, Sale Sharks secured a victory against Saracens despite facing significant disciplinary challenges. Early in the first half, Sale was reduced to 13 men following a red card issued to Jacques Vermuelen for a high tackle on Tomos Williams.

Nathan Jibulu opened the scoring for Sale with a try. Although Saracens applied pressure and scored through Eroni Mawi, Sale maintained their lead through tries from Sione Va’eneku and Ben Bamber. Despite a late fightback from Saracens involving the Bracken brothers, Sale held on to win the match.
