Salem Downtown Dining Experience returns for seventh year

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce will host its seventh annual Downtown Dining Experience on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The event features 14 participants across 13 stops, where organized groups of 15 to 20 people visit various local businesses in 15-minute increments to sample menu items.

To date, the event has raised more than $150,000 for United Way Services of Northern Columbiana County agencies to support the Salem community and surrounding areas. This year's participants include Kravitz Deli, Grizzly Bean Coffee House, Ezio's Italian Restaurant, and several others located in Courtyard Square and on Broadway Avenue.

Tickets are priced at $45. Attendees can participate in various voting categories via QR code, such as ‘Best Presentation’ and ‘Best Savory’. Additionally, every ticket holder is entered into a drawing to win a diamond necklace donated by Troll's Jewelry.
