Salernitana locks up striker Lescano and signs two youth midfielders to long‑term contracts

Italian Serie C club Salernitana has solidified its attacking and midfield core for the coming seasons. Striker Facundo Lescano, acquired for over two million euros six months ago, signed a new contract that runs until 2029. While on vacation in Kyoto, Japan, Lescano kept up his fitness regime with weight‑training and cycling, signalling his determination to lead the team’s offense after scoring eight goals in the regular season and two more in the playoffs.

In addition, Salernitana has secured two promising midfielders from its Primavera squad, Francesco Ferrarese and Michele Paolillo, both born in 2009. The duo signed three‑year professional contracts lasting until 30 June 2029, reflecting the club’s strategy of building a sustainable foundation by protecting young talent that could become valuable on the field and in the transfer market.
