Salernitana signs defender Simone Pieraccini on loan

Salernitana has secured the signing of 22-year-old defender Simone Pieraccini on loan from Cesena. The move is intended to bolster the defense following a long-term injury to Jonas Heinz.

The deal includes an option for Salernitana to purchase the player for 350,000 euros if certain conditions, such as promotion, are met. Cesena will participate in the player's wages, with Salernitana paying 50,000 euros for the season. Pieraccini, who has experience in both Serie B and Serie C, is noted for his versatility, capable of playing as a right-sided defender in a three-man line or as a central defender in a four-man line.
