Salernitana to auction charity jerseys for AIL Salerno
Salernitana has announced a charity auction for limited edition jerseys worn during their match against Giugliano on September 19. The jerseys, produced by GIVOVA, were designed to honor San Matteo, the patron saint of Salerno.
The auction will be hosted on the CharityStars platform and is divided into two separate tranches. The first tranche, featuring eleven jerseys, will be available for bidding from noon on Monday, September 28, until 8:00 PM on October 5. The second tranche, also containing eleven jerseys, will run from noon on Thursday, October 1, until 8:00 PM on October 8.
Items up for auction include both match-worn jerseys from players who participated in the game and jerseys worn by players on the bench. All proceeds from the sale will support the Salerno section of the Italian Association Against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma (AIL), which works to fund hematology centers and support scientific research and patient care in the region.
