Salernitana unveils new striker Marco Bevilacqua during Cascia training camp

At the start of pre‑season, Serie B club Salernitana introduced Marco Bevilacqua, a former Foggia forward, as a new striker. In a press conference at the team’s Cascia training camp he thanked the club, saying “Grato alla società, un onore essere allenato da Cosmi,” and expressed enthusiasm for playing at the Arechi stadium.

Bevilacqua described his playing style as a forward who “likes to link play and then attack the depth.” Coach Serse Cosmi also organised a joint training session with a local Serie D/Eccellenza selection, fielding a line‑up that included Bevilacqua. The friendly ended 5‑1 in Salernitana’s favour.
