Salerno Archbishop reflects on Saint Matthew during triduum

Archbishop Bellandi delivered a homily in Salerno regarding the triduum of Saint Matthew. In his reflections, the Archbishop addressed the patron saint of the city, noting that Salerno has long guarded the saint's remains within its Cathedral.

Bellandi emphasized that the religious festivities should transcend mere tradition, serving instead as a transformative encounter. He referenced the Gospel account of Matthew's calling, highlighting how Jesus saw potential in the tax collector and offered him a new future.
