Salerno begins 1.2 million euro renovation of Simone Vitale pool

Renovation work has accelerated at the Simone Vitale swimming pool in the Torrione district of Salerno. Located on the Lungomare Tafuri, the facility had been unusable for several months, impacting local sports clubs and regular users.

The project, totaling 1.2 million euros, is funded by the Meloni government's Department of Sport alongside municipal resources. The restructuring aims to modernize the complex, upgrade systems, and ensure the safety of the entire facility to relaunch it as a key local sports landmark.
