Salerno hairdressers establish new union under Rocco Casola

A new union for hairdressers has been established within the FeNAILP of the Salerno province in Italy. The organization was formed during a meeting of industry operators to provide stable representation for the sector.

Rocco Casola has been elected unanimously as president. The leadership team includes Vice President Kikko Fortunato and Treasurer Gianluca Costantino, a veteran of the profession.

The union aims to address several key challenges facing the industry, including management costs, tax and contribution pressures, professional training, illegal practices, irregular labor, safety, innovation, and generational turnover. The organization intends to initiate dialogue with both operators and institutions to tackle these issues.
