Salerno hosts 15th Arena Arbostella festival

The 15th edition of the Arena Arbostella – Premio Gino Esposito is scheduled to take place in Salerno from August 28 to September 3, 2026. Held at the square in front of the Teatro Arbostella “Gino Esposito” on Viale Verdi, the summer festival features a variety of outdoor performances including theater, cabaret, and music.

All shows offer free admission until capacity is reached. The event is directed by Arturo Esposito and presided over by Immacolata Caracciuolo. The opening night on August 28 will feature the Salerno-based trio Villa PerBene with their cabaret show “Titolo e sottotitolo.” Subsequent programming includes a production of Eduardo De Filippo and Armando Curcio’s “La fortuna con la F maiuscola” by the Neapolitan company Zerottantuno Arte e Cultura, and Raffaele Viviani’s “A morte ‘e Carnevale” performed by the local Comica Gino Esposito.
