Salerno theaters announce upcoming performances

The Teatro Pier Paolo Pasolini in Salerno will open its new prose season on November 3 and 4 with ‘Il Presidente’. Written by Davide Carnevali and performed by Filippo Nigro, the monologue explores the reflections of a former head of state regarding public responsibility and the consequences of political decisions. The production is directed by Fabrizio Arcuri and Nigro.

Additionally, the Teatro Municipale Giuseppe Verdi will host ‘Din Don Down – Alla ricerca di (D)io’ on November 25, 2026, as part of the Musica d’Artista 2026 festival. Starring Paolo Ruffini and the Mayor Von Frinzius company—which features actors with disabilities—the show combines comedy and improvisation to explore themes of divinity and the human condition. The production is directed by Lamberto Giannini.
