Salesforce and NVIDIA launch Koa CRM reasoning model
Salesforce and NVIDIA have announced Koa, a first-of-its-kind CRM reasoning model designed for Agentforce. Developed by post-training NVIDIA’s Nemotron 3 Super with a proprietary synthetic dataset, Koa is built upon 27 years of Salesforce CRM intelligence. The model is specifically engineered to help AI agents navigate complex, multi-step enterprise workflows, such as updating sales opportunities, routing customer service cases, and scheduling follow-ups.
In internal CRM benchmarks, Salesforce claims Koa matches or exceeds the performance of leading models while committing three times fewer errors. Analysts note that Salesforce’s primary competitive advantage lies in its decades of encoded deployment patterns across more than 14 industries, which serves as a significant data moat.
The partnership also includes Missionforce, an initiative aimed at providing government and regulated organizations with greater control over AI models, data, and deployment environments. This allows for the implementation of mission-specific AI within private clouds, air-gapped networks, and other highly secure settings.
