Salesforce and SK Telecom introduce AI agent governance frameworks
Salesforce has unveiled an enterprise control system designed to register and manage AI agents both inside and outside its platform. The system allows administrators to monitor the identity, permissions, activities, and costs associated with various agents. This initiative includes support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that enables AI agents to connect with external tools and data.
Separately, SK Telecom has published its first ‘AI Governance Report,’ outlining management guidelines to enhance the safety and reliability of AI services. The report specifically addresses risks associated with autonomous AI agents that make independent decisions. SK Telecom is implementing a ‘Privacy by Design’ approach and has obtained international standard certification (ISO/IEC 42001) for its AI management systems to ensure consistent oversight throughout the AI lifecycle.
