Salesforce announces $25 billion buyback and raises revenue guidance
Salesforce has announced a $25 billion share buyback program and raised its revenue guidance for fiscal year 2027 to a range of $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion. This represents a year-over-year increase of 11% to 12%. The company also reaffirmed a long-term revenue target of $63 billion for 2030.
During an Investor Day at Dreamforce in San Francisco, Chief Financial and Operating Officer Robin Washington noted that the company has already repurchased a cumulative $60 billion in shares. The new $25 billion buyback is expected to reach final settlement in October.
Growth is being driven significantly by Agentforce, which reported annual recurring revenue exceeding $1.5 billion, a year-over-year increase of more than 240%. When combined with Data 360, the figure reaches approximately $3.9 billion.
In response to these developments, analysts have adjusted their outlooks. Freedom Broker raised its price target for Salesforce from $230 to $295, maintaining a “buy” rating. Other financial institutions, including HSBC and Oppenheimer, have also maintained positive ratings or increased price objectives.
