Salesi Hospital activates 24/7 radiology service in Ancona

The Salesi Materno Infantile Hospital in Ancona has activated a continuous 24/7 radiology service for the first time. This new initiative by the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria delle Marche aims to provide faster diagnoses and increase the facility's clinical autonomy.

The service will eliminate the need to transfer pediatric patients and laboring mothers to other facilities for urgent radiological exams during nights and holidays. By maintaining radiological expertise on-site, the hospital intends to reduce stress for families and optimize the use of ambulances and medical personnel. The continuous availability will also support scheduled diagnostic activities.
