Salesian community launches youth perspective column

The Salesian community in Italy has launched a new column titled ‘Il mestiere di vivere di un(‘)adolescente’ (The Craft of Living as an Adolescent). The initiative provides a dedicated space for teenagers aged 14 to 17 to share their personal experiences and perspectives.

Through this platform, young people discuss various themes including physical changes, friendships, academic pressures, identity formation, and the challenges of navigating a world driven by algorithms and constant visibility. The project aims to encourage adults to listen to the voices of the younger generation without immediate judgment, treating their internal worlds and reflections with seriousness.
