Salesian Inspectorate holds pedagogy training for new educators in São Paulo

The Salesian Inspectorate of São Paulo held the 2026 Salesian Pedagogy Meeting for New Educators on September 12. Approximately 88 new staff members from Salesian schools participated in the training session held at Liceu Coração de Jesus in the Campos Elíseos district of São Paulo.

The initiative aimed to provide initial training on Salesian Pedagogy, focusing on the principles of the Preventive System. The program included sessions led by Father Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, Father Douglas Verdi, and Vice-Inspector Father Mauricio Miranda, who discussed the legacy of Dom Bosco and the importance of education as an expression of the Salesian charism.

Participants engaged in workshops and rotations to better understand the various dimensions of the Salesian mission, emphasizing the pillars of reason, religion, and 'amorevolezza' to support the integral development of youth.
