Salesian Social Network America holds 17th meeting on social services

The 17th Meeting of the Works and Social Services of the Salesian Social Network America (RASS) commenced on September 6, 2026. Operating under the theme ‘Listening to transform, serving to give dignity,’ the event brings together representatives from 18 Salesian Inspectorates across the continent, including the Salesian Brazil Network, various NGOs, and youth ministry leaders.

Participants are focusing on the commitment to children and youth in situations of vulnerability and exclusion. Key discussion topics include the historical roots of the Salesian charism, the strengthening of safeguarding protocols, human mobility, and youth employability. The meeting aims to address challenges such as strengthening network alliances, increasing the visibility of social works, and ensuring long-term sustainability for these services.
