Salford City and Fleetwood Town face off in League Two clash

Salford City and Fleetwood Town are set to face each other this Saturday at the AIG Stadium in a League Two fixture. Salford City enters the match with momentum, having won four and drawn one of their last five league games. Currently sitting seventh in the table, the team aims to extend their unbeaten run to six games and move into the top three.

Fleetwood Town, managed by Matt Lawlor, seeks to end a three-game losing streak across all competitions. Defender Rhys Bennett expressed confidence in the squad's ability to bounce back, noting that the team has developed significant character and defensive cohesion since the pre-season. Despite recent disappointing results, Bennett believes the squad is prepared to respond effectively in their upcoming away match.
