Salford resident Elsie Goodall celebrates 109th birthday

Elsie Goodall, a resident at Beechfield Lodge in Salford, has celebrated her 109th birthday. The milestone makes her the oldest resident within Anchor’s entire housing and care portfolio.

Born in July 1917, Goodall celebrated the occasion with family, friends, colleagues, and fellow residents. The event included a visit from the region’s newly appointed Ceremonial Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Robin Garrido and Mrs Karen Garrido. Goodall, who has lived at Beechfield Lodge for four years, is noted as a well-loved figure in the local community and a regular at the Royal Sovereign pub.
