Salgado Filho and Oito e Meia clinch futsal victories in Rio Grande do Sul

The municipal team of Salgado Filho defeated Bernardo de Irigoyen 8‑4 in a postponed Copa CIF Cresol match held on the night of 3 August at the Ginásio Bragamatte in Barracão. The high‑scoring game completed the tournament schedule and set up a triple‑round of matches later in the week.

In the Campeonato Municipal de Futsal Série Prata of Canela, Oito e Meia secured the championship by edging Casa Blanca 4‑3 in the final on 31 July at the Ginásio Carlinhos da Vila. Both finalists earned promotion to the Série Ouro for the next season.
