Salice Salentino celebrates 50 years of DOC wine

Salice Salentino will host the ‘VERSO – SALICE MUSIC AND WINE’ event on August 29 and 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the DOC Salice Salentino wine designation. The festivities, held in the center of Salice Salentino, aim to combine wine, music, and culture to engage citizens, producers, and tourists.

The program includes wine tastings led by AIS Puglia sommeliers, food stands, book presentations, exhibitions, and various performances ranging from street art to circus shows. A highlight of the event is a special concert featuring Eugenio Finardi and Raffaele Casarano. Other musical guests include Claudio Covato and local artists, covering genres such as rock, blues, and soul. Admission to the scheduled events is free.
