Salifou Camara confesses to killing Aïcha Sacko in Kindia

Salifou Camara has confessed to the murder of 25-year-old merchant Aïcha Sacko in the Friguiagbè sub-prefecture of Kindia, Guinea. The victim's body was discovered on October 19 inside her shop, where she was found with multiple stab wounds.

According to the Kindia Gendarmerie's research brigade, Camara admitted to the crime, citing jealousy as the motive. He stated that after suspecting Sacko of having a relationship with another man, he entered her shop and stabbed her. Following his formal confession, the suspect was transferred to the Kindia Court of First Instance to face legal proceedings.

The victim's brother, Mohamed Sacko, reported that the shop owner discovered blood leaking from under the door after the business failed to open at its usual time. Gendarmes forced entry and found the suspect near the body. The family has called for justice and peace through the legal system.
