Salik renews TransCore partnership to expand Dubai mobility services

Salik, the exclusive operator of Dubai’s road toll gates, has renewed its five-year technology partnership with US-based TransCore. The agreement aims to expand Salik’s payment platform beyond tolling to include parking payments and other future mobility services.

The renewed contract builds on an 18-year relationship between the two companies. It focuses on the continued development of systems and technologies to support tolling operations while integrating artificial intelligence and advanced digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and system performance.

Salik expects the financial impact of the deal to remain broadly unchanged from the previous contract, with annual operating expenses projected to stay between 5% and 5.5% of total annual revenues. The partnership is intended to support the requirements of Dubai’s evolving smart mobility ecosystem.
