Salinas, Ecuador crowns national beach tennis champions
The second edition of the National Beach Tennis Tournament took place in Salinas, Santa Elena Province, as part of the sixth stop of the 2026 Beach Tennis Ecuador circuit. Over three days, 35 matches were contested across five categories.
Champions included Bryan Zambrano and Gino Ycaza in the intermediate men's division, Valentina Miranda and Victoria Ledw in the intermediate women's division, Gemita Matías and Karli Méndez in the amateur women's division, as well as other pairs in the mixed and under‑14 categories. Circuit director Carlos Rodríguez Tello said the event marks an important step toward consolidating the national circuit and fostering the sport's growth in Ecuador.
