Sally Rainey Signs Multi-Year Deal with AC Milan

University of New Hampshire women's soccer alumna Sally Rainey has signed a professional contract with Italian Serie A club AC Milan that runs through June 30, 2029. The goalkeeper will wear the No. 24 jersey and join one of the world’s most prestigious women's teams.

Rainey arrives after helping Red Star Belgrade win its third consecutive Serbian Women’s Super League title in the 2025‑26 season. At UNH she earned back‑to‑back America East Goalkeeper of the Year honors (2023, 2024) and set school records for career goals‑against average and shutouts. The move marks a transition from NCAA competition to elite European club soccer, involving relocation to Milan and integration into the league that qualifies its top three teams for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
