Salma Paralluelo: From family hardship to football history

Salma Paralluelo, the professional footballer for FC Barcelona, has a background rooted in Zaragoza and a family history marked by significant sacrifice. Born in 2003, Paralluelo demonstrated early athletic talent, winning local races at age seven and breaking records in athletics by age 15.

Her family faced severe economic hardship during the 2009 financial crisis. Her mother, Diosdada Ayingono, originally from Equatorial Guinea, emigrated to Switzerland to work and provide financial support for the family after her husband, Jaime Paralluelo, lost his job.

Paralluelo has achieved a unique milestone in football history, being the only player to hold a triple crown consisting of the U-17, U-20, and senior World Cup titles.
