Salma Paralluelo's personal history and Olympique Lyonnais' strong start

Salma Paralluelo, the professional footballer known for her achievements with FC Barcelona, has a background marked by significant family sacrifice. Born in Zaragoza, Spain, to a Catalan father and a mother from Equatorial Guinea, her family faced severe financial instability during the 2009 economic crisis. To support the household and avoid eviction, her mother migrated to Switzerland, leaving Paralluelo to grow up seeing her mother only during holidays.

Paralluelo has achieved a unique milestone in football history, holding a triple crown of titles across U-17, U-20, and senior World Cups.

In club competition, Olympique Lyonnais Féminin has started the new season strongly, securing three consecutive victories in the Première Ligue against Fleury, Paris FC, and Le Havre. Despite the winning streak, coach Jonatan Giraldez noted that the team must improve defensively, having conceded goals in each of the first three matches, as they prepare for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Servette FC.
