Salman Khan unveils patriotic single ‘Jai Hind’ from film Maatrubhumi

The makers of the upcoming war drama Maatrubhumi have released ‘Jai Hind,’ a patriotic single featuring Salman Khan. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya with vocals by Stebin Ben and lyrics by Sameer, the track reunites Khan and Reshammiya after three years.

The music video depicts Khan in military uniform leading army officers, focusing on the sacrifices of soldiers and their families. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is inspired by real-life military heroism along the border and stars Chitrangada Singh, Zeyn Shaw, and Abhishrri Sen.

Produced by Salman Khan Films, the project was previously titled Battle of Galwan and has reportedly been resubmitted to the censor board for certification. While a November release is rumored, no official date has been announced. Khan shared the song on social media, emphasizing that patriotism should be expressed throughout the year rather than just on national holidays.
