The 27th edition of the Pordenonelegge literary festival is scheduled for September 16–20, 2026, in Pordenone, Italy. The event, themed ‘Languages of Truth,’ will feature 694 guests and 60 editorial previews.

Salman Rushdie is set to open the festival on September 16 at the Teatro Verdi, participating in a dialogue with Federico Rampini regarding free expression. The festival will conclude on September 20 with an appearance by Italian President Sergio Mattarella and a concert by Trio Il Volo.

Other notable international participants include Michel Houellebecq, Peter Sloterdijk, and Andrew Sean Greer. The event serves as part of the city's preparations for its designation as the Italian Capital of Culture in 2027.
