Salmon Arm fruit market owner reports pumpkin vandalism
A fruit market owner in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, is seeking help to identify individuals responsible for vandalizing his pumpkin patch. Brad DeMille reported that approximately 100 pumpkins were destroyed, with many found smashed on the road, in ditches, or trampled in the fields.
The damage is estimated at roughly $500. DeMille has filed a report with the Salmon Arm RCMP and is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the identification of the suspects. He noted that the incident involves trespassing and vandalism, and expressed disappointment that the act affects community donations typically made to local organizations and Indigenous groups.
