OZTAT has voluntarily recalled its 5 kg packs of Halal chicken curry chipolata (product code 2026‑07‑0152) after detecting Salmonella spp in the batch. The recall covers nationwide sales in France, with the affected lot numbered 343659813958228050726 and a best‑before date of 28 July 2026. Consumers are instructed not to eat the product, to return it to the point of sale, and to seek medical advice if symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, fever or headache appear within 6–72 hours of consumption, especially vulnerable groups like children, pregnant women, the elderly and immunocompromised individuals. Cooking the product thoroughly to an internal temperature above 65 °C can destroy the bacteria. The company offers reimbursement for returned items. The recall was announced on 16 July 2026.
