Entrepreneurship programs expand across Brazil and globally
Various regional and global initiatives are providing entrepreneurship training and business development opportunities across Brazil and internationally.
In Brazil, Sebrae is offering remote workshops in Ubatuba covering topics such as artificial intelligence, marketing, and financial management. Similarly, the Empreendedorismo na Veia event in São Gonçalo brought together 250 participants for lectures on innovation and career development. In Betim, a partnership between Salão do Encontro, Petrobras, and Sebrae-MG provides a free course for micro-entrepreneurs, with top performers eligible for up to R$ 15,000 in investment. In Salvador, the Empreendedoras Braskem na Bahia project offers 50 free spots for women to undergo intensive training in business management and marketing.
On a broader scale, the Santander X Explorer 2026 program is accepting applications from university students to transform ideas into viable solutions, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, the Bora – Empreender para Mudar event in Natal focuses on the creative economy in the Northeast. Cultural and economic empowerment is also highlighted through the 5th Expo Preta in Recife, which supports black-owned businesses and local brands.
