Salomón Jara inaugurates Villa Primavera Sports Unit in Puerto Escondido

Oaxaca Governor Salomón Jara Cruz has inaugurated the Villa Primavera Sports Unit in Puerto Escondido, located in San Pedro Mixtepec. The project represents an investment of approximately 22.5 million pesos and is intended to benefit more than 29,000 residents from several neighborhoods, including El Aeropuerto, La Paz, Las Flores, Fraccionamiento Jardines, La Parota, and La Parota Viva.

The modernized facility features a synthetic grass football pitch measuring 104 by 66 meters and a 467-meter athletics track with eight lanes and a 10-centimeter thick tartan surface. Additional improvements include the installation of 220 seats in the stands and the construction of concrete hydraulic curbs.

During the inauguration, the Governor noted that the administration remains committed to providing youth with adequate spaces for sports and social development. He also mentioned other priority infrastructure works in the region, such as a 30-million-peso rehabilitation of the Puerto Escondido sump and the rehabilitation of the Punta Colo wastewater treatment plant.
