Salomón Rondón leads Liga MX scoring race with Pachuca

Salomón Rondón, the 36-year-old captain of the Venezuelan national team, is leading the scoring charts in the Liga MX Apertura 2026 tournament. Playing for C. F. Pachuca, the striker has recorded over ten goals in the first 10 matches of the season.

Rondón’s recent performances include braces against Pumas UNAM, Puebla, and Tijuana, as well as goals against Juárez, Querétaro, Chivas, and Atlante. He currently accounts for more than 60% of his team's total goals in the competition.

In addition to his pursuit of the individual scoring title, Rondón has reached a historic milestone by scoring his 50th official goal for Pachuca across all competitions.
