Salomon updates footwear lineup with XT-EVO and Genesis 2

Salomon has introduced updates to its footwear lineup, including the launch of the XT-EVO and the overhaul of the Genesis trail running shoe.

The XT-EVO enters the XT line, drawing inspiration from the performance DNA of the XT-6. It features a redesigned silhouette with more pronounced proportions and fluid lines. The shoe utilizes the Agile Chassis™ system to provide stability, cushioning, and control across various terrains. The initial colorway includes red, black, and grey tones, and the model is priced at 190 euros.

Additionally, the brand has released the Genesis 2, a significant update to its long-distance trail shoe. This version includes a reworked activeCHASSIS, a widened midsole platform for improved stability, and a revamped All-Terrain contaGRIP outsole with redesigned lug geometry for better traction in wet or muddy conditions. The Genesis 2 also incorporates a lighter Matryx upper made from high-tenacity Kevlar yarn and technical fibers.
