Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida to host four major equine competitions

The 17th edition of the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida will feature four major competitions focused on equine excellence and the promotion of Moroccan breeding. The events center on Arabian, Arab-Barb, and Barb horse breeds.

Key competitions include the Moroccan Breeders Cup for Arabian horses, organized by the Société Royale d’Encouragement du Cheval (SOREC) and the Association Royale Marocaine des Éleveurs de Chevaux Pur-Sang Arabes (ARMECPSA). This event highlights genetic improvement and the preservation of national lineages. Additionally, the salon will host the International Arabian Horse Models and Gaits 'Title Show,' an event recognized by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO) that brings together horses from Morocco, Europe, and the Middle East.

Other highlights include the Champions Cup for Arab-Barb horses, noted for their endurance and versatility, and the Champions Cup for Barb horses, which celebrates the national horse of Morocco based on criteria such as power, balance, and gait. The salon serves as a platform to strengthen exchanges between national and international equine professionals.
