SALONIA cordless hair iron wins Good Design Award

SALONIA, a minimal beauty appliance brand operated by I-ne Co., Ltd., has received the 2026 Good Design Award for its cordless straight hair iron. The product features a dual-function design that integrates a hair iron with a mobile battery, allowing users to charge a smartphone by approximately 58% using a full charge of the iron.

The device reaches 140°C in about 60 seconds and offers three temperature settings: 140°C, 160°C, and 180°C. For travel safety, the battery can be removed to comply with airline carry-on regulations. Since its launch approximately one year ago, the product has achieved significant commercial success, with cumulative shipments exceeding 270,000 units, reaching 180% of its original sales plan.
